ARINC in Boston, MA is looking for a Acquisition Program Analyst for our Life Cycle Management and Operations Support Division. This position will provide on-site acquisition and project management support of full range of activities support for systems engineering capability studies and assist with managing budget for study activities. Other duties include:

• Provide broad range of acquisition support duties that require conformance with DoD systems acquisition policy, regulations and guidance.
• Devise strategies for deploying and implementing current or new acquisition policy initiatives and measuring the effectiveness of implementation.
• Analyze acquisition issues and develops risk reduction and mitigation approaches for improving program planning, control, and execution.
• Identify Capabilities, Requirements and Deficiencies in Command, Control, Communication (C3) Infrastructure, and Implements acquisition solutions.
• Provide investment recommendations to meet current and future requirements.
• Support acquisition planning for a new production program.
• Review and articulate requirements from directives, plans, and other documents and include recommends actions.
• Develop risk reduction/mitigation approaches for improving program planning, control, and execution. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have eight (8) or more years experience with a minimum of three (3) years experience on DoD or Air Force acquisition programs. Other qualifications include:

• Current experience with DoD 5000 series acquisition procedures.
• Must be able to brief senior level audiences, Prime Contractor and external organizational teams, and Program Office members.
• Possess ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Must have a positive attitude, ability to work well with others, self starter, and flexibility to changing workloads.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project).

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including US Citizenship, for access to classified information.

Education and Certification Requirements: Bachelors Degree. Masters Degree in a technical discipline preferred.

Desired Qualifications: APDP rating, and Air Staff/OSD experience desired. Familiarity with SATCOM programs highly desired.
