ARINC is seeking an Aircraft Systems Engineer to join our ARINC Engineering Services Division in our California, Maryland office. This role will provide engineering support for the EA-18G as part of our Command & Control Warfare Unit at the customer's location on board NAS Patuxent River MD.

The EA-18G is the cornerstone of the Naval Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA) mission. Derived from the F/A-18F aircraft, the EA-18G incorporates advanced AEA avionics bringing transformational capability for suppression of enemy air defenses (SEAD) and non-traditional electronic attack operations.

Responsibilities will include the following:
* Act as the NAVAIR technical representative to the fleet on EA-18G capabilities.
Manage the introduction of leading edge technology into fleet aircraft by drafting and managing the governing flight clearance and technical documentation for the Hornet community with a strong emphasis on the EA-18G aircraft.
* Respond to fleet technical queries and act as systems expert in support of NAVAIR and PMA-265.
*Maintain insight into tactics and capabilities through contact with weapon schools and fleet deployers.
* Provide all models of the Navy's F/A-18 community with technical support and documentation within the Weaponeering, Interim Flight Clearance, NATIP, and NATOPS (WINN) office. Draft NATIP and NATOPS changes to incorporate new capabilities and provide clear technical information to the fleet. Qualifications Required Experience:
At least four years of practical experience in the engineering field. At least three years of experience as aircrew in the F/A-18 or the EA-6B aircraft. Field experience with operational weaponeering, core avionics integration; electronic warfare or sensor (radar, EO, ESM) system/subsystem employment and capabilities.

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including US Citizenship, for access to classified information.

Desired Experience:
Instructional experience with the Weapons School or Fleet Replacement Squadron.

Education or Certification Requirements:

BS (MS preferred) in an engineering discipline from a school of engineering having at least one professional engineering curriculum accredited by the Accredition Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET)
