We continually seek qualified candidates to contribute to our outstanding global team.ARINC is seeking a Systems Engineer to support our Aviation Systems Engineering team in California, MD.Specific responsibilities include:• Provide program management and identify requirements for the Navy Unmanned Combat Air System• Perform program cost analysis, and develop schedules• Define program requirements and technology maturation strategies for aircraft carrier aviation systems in support of the integration of unmanned systems on the aircraft carrier• Develop requirements and evaluate technologies for the integration of the unmanned combat air system on board the aircraft carrier(Carrier Vessel Nuclear) also known as CVN.• Serve as main point of contact for five existing projects Qualifications Required Experience:Ten (10) years of practical experience in shipboard air traffic control and landing systems.Three (3) years experience with CVN aviation systems such as Aviation Data Management Control System (ADMACS), Amphibious Air Traffic Control, Carrier Air Traffic Control Center, Direct Altitude and Identity Readout (TPX42 CATCC DAIR), Landing Signal Officer (LSO) systems, and Primary Flight Control Systems.Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information.Desired Experience:The ideal candidate will have at least three years of assigned sea-duty on board an aircraft carrier and experience in a related field of aircraft carrier aviation.Education and or Certification Requirements:Masters degree in Operations Management and Bachelors of Science in engineering or applied science.
