Engineering services include site surveys, requirements analysis, acquisition, design, installation, testing, and sustainment support of turnkey systems and capabilities. Charleston also provides full-service drafting as well as a variety of specialized technical skills, including the integration of secure and non-secure communication, radar, fiber optics, and ATC automation. Our highly skilled personnel are fully certified in accordance with Department of Defense (DoD) standards and requirements.
ARINC in Charleston is currently recruiting for the following area:
• Electronic Systems Engineers
The position will:
• Plan, design, prepare, install, and support development of complex communication, radar, and electronic systems
• Participate in site surveys, Base Electronic System Engineering Plan (BESEP), Personnel Support Activity (PSA), and Installation Design Plan (IDP) document development
• Perform tasks involving technology assessment, system performance analysis, system integration planning, specification development, test and evaluation, and communications information system concept formulation/design/analysis. Qualifications Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of proven and current experience in the field of electronic systems analysis, including radar and/or communication
- Must have theoretical knowledge, analytical skill and work experience to participate in comprehensive analyses of electronic systems concepts, designs and test requirements
- Shore ATC experience is required
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including US Citizenship, for access to classified information.
Education and/or certification requirements:
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, or computer science
- Degrees must be from an ABET accredited program or accredited within the field of discipline (Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology degrees do not qualify)
