ARINC in El Segundo, CA is looking for a System Architect to support our Advanced Systems Engineering and Integration Division. The System Architect will provide acquisition and programmatic support at meetings and teleconferences. The selected candidate will conduct studies and analysis to investigate interoperability, compatibility and suitability of customer defined system architectures to meet mission needs. The System Architect will coordinate data collection, development, modification/enhancements, integration, maintenance and documentation of customer architectures. Some travel will be involved. Qualifications Required Experience:
15 or more years of architecture development experience required.
Experience with threat and vulnerability assessment required.
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including US Citizenship, for access to classified information.
Desired Experience:
15 to 18 years of DoD architecture development experience desired.
Experience with DoD documentation of air, surface, space, mission, and information and system architectures desired.
Experience with government STARS system is a plus.
Experience with commercial architecture development tools is a plus.
Education or Certification Requirements: Masters degree in engineering discipline preferred or equivalent technical background required.
