ARINC in El Segundo, CA is looking for a Systems Engineer to support our Advanced Systems Engineering and Integration Division. The System Engineer will support the assessment of emerging technologies in support of space situational awareness roadmap development. The Systems Engineer will support mission analysis, requirements definition, requirements allocation, interface management, and requirements verification and validation. This position will work with the customer engineering team providing technical oversight to assure proper development of products including two-way requirements traceability. The Systems Engineer will provide acquisition and programmatic support at meetings and teleconferences. Some travel will be involved. Qualifications Required Experience:
12 or more years of systems engineering experience required.
Experience with space-based EO/IR payload performance and development required.
Understanding of software engineering and development processes required.
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including US Citizenship, for access to classified information.
Desired Experience:
12 to 15 years of remote sensor development experience desired.
Experience with modernization planning or technology roadmap development is a plus.
Education or Certification Requirements: Bachelors degree in engineering discipline preferred or equivalent technical background required.
