ARINC’S Panama City Beach, FL location is seeking a Designer to support our Defense Systems Engineering & Support Division.This position will:- Generate 3D model designs and changes, including major layout and engineering drawings of complicated components and assemblies- Generate production level engineering drawings and associated lists in accordance with DoD standards- Drawing types include mono detail, multi-detail, cable assemblies, wire harnesses, electro-mechanical assemblies and subassemblies, exploded assemblies, end item assemblies, cutaway view illustrations, weldments, interconnect diagrams, wiring diagrams, illustrated part breakouts (IPBs), and technical isometric illustrations Qualifications Required Experience:- 8 or more years of experience in drafting electro-mechanical engineering - 5 or more years of experience generating & working with drawings in Solid Edge or SolidWorks software. - Thorough knowledge of drafting principles and standards, including GD&T are required.- Familiarity with ASME Y14.100 series and MIL-STD 31000 standardsApplicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including US Citizenship, for access to classified information.Education/Certification Requirements: - Requires an Associate’s degree or certification in drafting or equivalent advanced training
