ARINC in Hurlburt Fld, Fl is looking for a C-130 Flight Engineer to support our Aerospace Systems Engineering & Support Division.

Perform flight engineer duties in support of flight operations programs to include: serve as flight engineer; perform ground and flight instructional duties as required; and accomplish acceptance/functional check flights, test and evaluation flights, support flights, and ferry flights on C-130 aircraft. Additional duties may include: detail inspections; troubleshooting; flight planning; making recommendations to the aircraft commander; train and evaluate flight engineers; provides aircraft technical support on aircraft operation and performance; and provide technical leadership related to basic flight engineer duties on all aspects to include aircraft systems, normal and emergency procedures, weight and balance control, and functional check flight procedures. Qualifications Required Experience:
Requires current qualification as a flight engineer in applicable type aircraft. Experimental Test Flight Engineer: not less than 1,000 hours flight engineer time in type-design aircraft to include 500 hours of engineering or experimental flight test in same category aircraft. Flight Engineer: not less than 1,000 hours flight engineer time in type-design aircraft to include 100 hours of engineering or experimental flight test in same category aircraft. Must possess an FAA Class II or military medical and be able to meet applicable physical and physiological minimum requirements.

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information.

Desired Experience:
The ideal candidate must be qualified and current as a flight engineer in applicable type aircraft. Experimental Test Flight Engineer: not less than 1000 flight engineer time in type-design aircraft

Education or Certification Requirements:
High School degree required, degree from certified College desired. Graduate from DoD Flight Engineering Training Course, current designation as a Flight Engineer
