We continually seek qualified candidates to contribute to our outstanding global team.ARINC is seeking a Data Fusion Flight Test Engineer to support our Command Control Systems and Services Division (C2S2)located in the Patuxent River, Maryland area.This Flight Test Engineer will:• Perform flight test engineering duties located at the customer's location on board NAS Patuxent River MD. • Coordinate with government customers to direct all aspects of Developmental Testing (DT) of data fusion systems and equipment installed on naval strike aircraft. • Develops engineering procedures and controls, manages test project efforts, and takes the lead in problem resolution.• Conduct ground and flight tests on data fusion capabilities of advanced aircraft and weapon systems. • Manage and direct flight test teams. • Conduct regular updates of weapon system manuals and tactics. • Provide technical support to fleet operators. Qualifications Required Experience:At least seven years of practical experience in the engineering field. At least five years of experience in the area of development, test and evaluation of complex major weapon and sensor systems and subsystems. A minimum of two years experience as a team leader of supervisor performing engineering management functions. A minimum of four years of direct experience in one or a combination of the following: aircraft development, test and evaluation conduct; electronic warfare systems; tactical data links; electro-optic sensor systems; acoustic sensor systems; radar systems; military targeting systems; aircraft weapons compatibility; core avionics integration; system/subsystem development, test & evaluation, or design.Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including US Citizenship, for access to classified information.Desired Experience:At least two years experience with a Naval Test Squadron/Directorate.Education or Certification Requirements:BS (MS preferred) in an engineering discipline from a school of engineering having at least one professional engineering curriculum accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET)
