ARINC in Oklahoma City, OK is looking for a Supply Chain Project Manager to support our Aircraft Integration & Modification Division. In this role you will manage negotiation strategy development and lead competitive supplier negotiations, as well as, coordinate with internal teams to create and manage competitive RFI’s, RFP’s and RFQ’s. Other duties include:
• Coordinate with sourcing team to create and implement programs to assess supplier performance and development; including establishing quarterly and annual goals as well as conducting quarterly business reviews and for quantitative scorecard activities.
• Build partnerships with supplier to ensure vendor direction is in line with our direction and goals.
• Leverage supplier expertise to develop recommendations and value engineering improvements to reduce cost and improve efficiencies.
• Oversee key supplier relationships and optimize supplier capabilities to address requirements.
• Gather stakeholders and subject matter insights/business requirements to ensure sourcing solutions meet business needs.
• Communicate proactively with stakeholders and sponsors regarding issues and plans for resolution.
• Regularly gather supplier performance feedback from stakeholders and conduct supplier business reviews.
• Participate and coordinate supplier on boarding and off boarding activities.
• Create integrated processes among Operations, Purchasing, Logistics, Design/Engineering and outside to execute requirements.
• Partner with technical design during the development process to ensure feasibility of product execution.
• Identify, explore and develop contingency plans and prime and alternate sources of supply products/services.
• Ensure consistency in policy execution in a centralized role to conduct risk assessments and supplier corrective action plans as recommended by the business unit.
• Approach conflicts as opportunities; understand others quickly; can find common ground without compromising total position.
• Maintain the highest level of integrity and ethics in all dealings with internal customers and outside suppliers.
• Provide input and support for continuous improvement programs with strategic sourcing.
• Maneuver through complex business situations effectively and professionally to anticipate and overcome barriers to success.
• Ensure sourcing activity and transactions comply with ARINC company directives.
• Regularly interact with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, while keeping them informed of commodity or supplier issues in the market place.
To be successful in this position, the following goal will need to be accomplished on an ongoing basis:
• Understand supply markets and keep routinely informed of market conditions, technology evolution and leading edge sourcing activities. Qualifications To be considered for the position you will have eight (8) or more years of experience with demonstrated ability to manage cost, schedule and technical performance issues of complex development programs with a working knowledge of and experience in material acquisition and subcontracting processes, as will as experience with DoD programs and proposals. At least 2 years of experience as a Project Lead. Other requirements include:
• Proven track record that includes working collaboratively with Program Management and Engineering/Technical leads regarding development and management of SOW requirements and subcontractor work outputs (including cost and schedule).
• Ability to interface with and present to all levels of Supplier/Subcontractor Management.
• Has a strong enterprise level procurement process and associated risk mitigation at the enterprise level.
• Strong analytical abilities; ability to plan, control and direct activities and resources related to planning and scheduling.
• Understanding of Annual Operating Plans (AOPs), Sales forecasting, and new business capture.
• Proficient in Earned Value Management and related Systems and Processes.
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, negotiating and contract management skills.
• Proven ability to multi task with good organizational and prioritization skills
• Knowledge of FAR and DFAR requirements.
• Strong computer and MS Office skills.

Education and/or Certification Requirements: BS degree in Supply Chain Management and/or Sourcing experience with a technical emphasis or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM).
